Publisher just sent me the cover. I'll edit in stuff like links when I have them.

Aw. Such a cute unicorn! You could step right over it. Very, very carefully.

Would I get in trouble for saying that I get a Terry Pratchett vibe from the cover and description? I'm very fond of Sir Pterry.

I would not dare to aspire to any Pratchett comparisions, but if you mean by it that the book looks tongue-in-cheek and hopes to make the reader laugh--then, yes: the cover has conveyed the tone of the book well. Mission accomplished. :-)

I'm really thrilled you like the cover :)

The book is at the printers right now - hopefully by mid-week it will be finished and ready to ship out to thousands of eager readers.

I guess this is the time to start worrying, then. ;)

Love the cover. I've always been dead set against having characters depicted on covers, because I think readers need leeway to imagine characters for themselves (as you noticed, Steve, I am never guilty of spending too much time describing characters), but this cover rocks my wee socks off. It's the first time I've had an artist draw a cover especially for my book, and Kimball has done a splendid job. Thanks for assigning him this book. :-)
